My Story

I'm a civil engineer turned TEDx speaker, host and emcee of TEDxWestMonroe, author and storyteller who encourages folks to focus on the good stuff in life. For me, that most important good stuff is family. In fact, much of the inspiration and stories I deliver to companies, organizations, communities and educators all over the country, are rooted in spending almost a million miles on the road with my wife and three kids over the years, experiencing and learning life simply by living it as a family.

My message is simple, yet incredibly transformational. By building a “culture of family,” we can rethink how today’s dynamically changing businesses and communities can grow and adapt through the power of restoring simple, universal values designed to reconnect us to the parts of life and business that matter most.

Using a playful spirit, relatable storytelling and quick wit, audiences embark on an insightful journey designed to open minds to new possibilities, innovate new solution-based thinking and change organizational culture to meet the ever changing needs of today’s workplace. I strive to build a custom tailored, positive message for each speaking opportunity, leaving your community encouraged, inspired and driven to create valuable change.

I married my high school sweetheart and we have three amazing kids; Ethan, Maddie and Charlie. We call West Monroe, LA home and when we're not speaking and inspiring people across this great country, I can be found with family and friends enjoying our favorite food. In our spare time, we love to BBQ, boil shrimp or crawfish; invite friends over and simply enjoy the culture of family we've built together.
